Library Content vs. Custom Content
As a DSID client, you may hear us refer to "library content" and "custom content".
Library Content
This refers to content that is either developed by DSID's design team or provided by industry vendors. Such content is included in the DSID Content Library and can be added to any client's presentation loop via their Lineup. This content does not contain any information that is specific to one practice, and could also be described as "generic."
If a certain product, procedure, or topic does not yet exist in the Content Library, when it is requested enough by multiple clients, said message will be prioritized for development and added to the Content Library. DSID reserves the right to add, remove, or modify library content at any time.
Custom Content
This refers to content that has been created or edited specifically for a single practice. Its use is intended solely for the practice for which it was created. Some examples include doctor credentials, staff credentials, before and after cases, and contests.
Clients are free to use this content wherever they please, including social media channels and websites. It is not confined to digital signage use. Custom content incorporates information and assets that are unique to a practice, including logos, photos, and wording.
Because such content requires design time and the expertise of our design team, a low fee is charged to fund such development in the form of credits. This is a separate charge not tied to the recurring monthly/annual subscription fee. You can read more about credits HERE.
The design process includes correspondence and content reviews to ensure the final product is brand cohesive and inline with your request(s).
