Location Mirroring
If you want two or more Locations displaying the exact same presentation Loop and settings, each can be set to mirror a specific Location. This is recommended when managing a large scale network of systems displaying the same content.
- From the Locations tab, click the options icon at the top right of the relevant Location tile.
- Select Set as Mirror from the options menu.
- Select the Location that will be reflected from the dropdown (This is only possible if you have 2 or more paired locations. In this example, the Location East Ave will be set to mirror the Location Blue Street. In other words, East Ave will be an exact duplicate of Blue Street and all its settings.
- Select Save.
- Once complete, the Location that has been set as a mirror will have a label indicating which Location it is reflecting. In this example, East Ave is now a MIRROR of Blue Street.
Disabling Location Mirror
If you no longer wish for a Location to be a mirror of another Location:
- Select the options icon for the Location you wish to no longer as a mirror and select Edit Mirror.
- Select Disable from the Edit Mirror popup.
- You will be asked to confirm this action. Select Yes.
- Once confirmed, the Location in question will no longer be a mirror and it will reload its original settings, including Loops and Layout.
Editing Location Mirror
If you wish for a Location that is already set as a mirror to be a mirror of a different Location:
- Select the options icon for the Location you wish to no longer as a mirror and select Edit Mirror.
- Select from the dropdown which Location you wish to be reflected instead.
- Select Save.
Mirror Limitations
- A Location that is set to be mirrored by another Location (ie. the target Location that is being reflected), cannot itself be a mirror as well.
