Design Credits

Custom content development is a pillar of service provided by DSID. Design Credits or just "credits" are the DSID currency for the commissioning of custom content requests. When a client requests the development of content; expertise, correspondence, and rendering time are required to fulfill such requests.

The scope of each request received is assessed and a credit cost is assigned to that scope. The average cost for most requests involving a 30-45 second video is 2-3 credits. More in-depth requests are upwards of 4 credits. Edits to existing content are generally around 1 credit, and sometimes 0 credits, depending on the extent of the adjustment.

One credit is reflective of roughly 1 hour of time spent on a request.  Credits can be purchased as needed or in bundles. The more you purchase the more you save. For instance, a bundle of 26 credits yields savings of 23% per credit, and a bundle of 40 credits yields savings of 31% per credit . The larger the bundle, the greater the savings. Credits never expire and can still be redeemed even if you are no longer a subscriber to our digital signage platform.

If your credit balance reaches zero or negative, the balance will need to be positive before any further requests can be produced.
