Video Content
For best results, follow these guidelines for video content that is uploaded to LoopOS. 4K quality content is the recommendation where possible. Lower resolutions are acceptable but quality may vary based on the resolution the presentation Layout is set at.
All video uploaded through your LoopOS account will be reviewed for quality standards. Should a video not contain the correct codec specifications, it may be re-rendered by DSID.
4K Video (Best) - LANDSCAPE ONLY
- 3840 x 2160 px (landscape)
- H.265 HEVC codec (REQUIRED - incorrect codecs for 4K content can cause your presentation to crash)
- 60fps
- 15Mbps CBR (constant bit rate)
- Aim for 30-60 second duration, maximum 300 seconds (5 minutes).
- Under 100MB file size.
- PLEASE NOTE, Brightsign devices do not currently support 4K content in portrait (vertical) orientation.
HD 1080p (Good)
- 1920 x 1080 px (landscape), 1080 x 1920 px (portrait)
- H.264 codec
- 30fps
- 15Mbps CBR (constant bit rate)
- Aim for 30-60 second duration, maximum 300 seconds (5 minutes).
- Under 100MB file size.
HD 720p (Average)
- 1280 x 720 px (landscape), 720 x 1280 px (portrait)
- H.264 codec
- 30fps
- 10Mbps CBR (constant bit rate)
- Aim for 30-60 second duration, maximum 300 seconds (5 minutes).
- Under 100MB file size.
